God has been moving in larger and more powerful ways lately! We need to hear how He is really healing the sick and raising the dead, despite most of us not participating. Here are some great testimonies about the power of prayer.

Ruth's mother has had breast cancer and a mass began to grow in her lungs. Since she's been prayed over, the enemy has been attacking her sinuses and breathing ability. Ruth called the local pastor and he prayed over her mom over the phone. Instantly the feeling that something was sitting on her chest disappeared.

She called the pastor again and he prayed for her mother again, and this time the tumors all disappeared except one. That day they all praised the Lord for her healing and the enemy tried to re-establish himself in her.

The tumors came back and more that she didn't have before. They disappeared and came back in the space of a few hours and you KNOW if tumors can come and go like that, they CAN'T be real! They are only symptoms of fear and death that the enemy wants you to believe in. Rebuke it! Cast it out in Jesus' name and keep on praising the Lord for healing!

Cancer Healing

Dear Rev. Lisa,

Thank you so much for your email today. The Holy Spirit has been talking to me through your email. A pastor called up my mom this morning and prayed for her. All the tumors except one disappeared. I was ecstatic. I glorified the name of the Lord before my father, my husband, my maid and whoever I could talk to. My mom was completely healed of cancer this morning after the pastor prayed. Then in the late afternoon the tumors came back, this time with pain and increased in number. I realized that the enemy has been deceiving us. He wants us to doubt and have unbelief. Your email today has shown me that we are indeed in a spiritual warfare and that our praises scare the enemy in the spirit realm. I told my mother not to be discouraged and to continue thanking the Lord for a complete manifestation of the healing. So today irrespective of whatever has manifested I am thanking the Lord for healing my mother by His stripes.

There is a good news! All the tumors have disappeared except one. There is one left which is a little painful. I told my mother to continue thanking the Lord for her healing. All the back pain and lung congestion is gone. She was able to do breathing exercise today which she couldn't do previously. Glory to God! We definitely serve a Living God.

A Choking Spirit Cast Out

Dear Rev. Lisa,

Thank you for standing by us through prayers. I was totally desperate and lost yesterday because I saw my mother suffer. She was so weak. Then I got a pastor friend of mine to pray for her over the phone. She was delivered from those spirits that very instant that he prayed.

A Previous Choking Spirit Cast Out (Different Person)

The spirit problem has become frequent for the past few months. There are a lot of people around us who are into heavy witchcraft and voodoo. India is dominated by idols and demons. There are so many people in our family and friends who are into heavy witchcraft and voodoo.

Let me give you a little background about how I got saved. My husband had gone to England on work and I was with my in-laws in their house for a couple of months. When I would sleep at nights, an unknown entity would squeeze my neck and choke me. I literally could not move my hands and limbs for nearly an hour or more every night.

I became pale as if I had no blood in my body. I would be so weak from those experiences. When I had repeated encounters, I told my mother about it. She took me to a lot of Hindu temples and Muslim durgahs to get me healed. She knew that my in-laws were trying to kill me through witchcraft. No matter where she took me I was not delivered.

When I visited the Muslim durgahs (tombs of Muslim saints), I had relief for 3 days and then it would be back to square one.

After suffering for 2 and 1/2 years, someone who worked for my father at his office told me about Jesus Christ. I didn't know anything about Jesus except that He was the Son of God and that He had helped me excel in my studies when I was doing my graduation and post-graduation.

So at once I accepted Jesus with child-like belief that HE would deliver me from this. And you know what? The day I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior, I was saved and delivered from the spirit torment. It has never happened to me again.

People still do witchcraft but Lord Jesus protects me and has been faithful to me just as He was on the day I accepted Him. Now people have realized that they can't target me through witchcraft, so those people are trying to harm my mom through witchcraft.

My mother is a born-again believer in Jesus and she is baptized in water. She is not yet baptized with the Holy Spirit.

She has been experiencing the spirit torment since 2008 on and off. My mother has been having severe burning sensation in her legs since 2008. Doctors clearly said that it was not neuropathy and they failed to diagnose the problem.

The burning starts when the spirit torments her once in a month ( you know when these new age occult people cast their spells). She currently has the burning in her legs from her thighs to her feet.

Knowledge Increased Supernaturally

When Ruth was in a Catholic school, she experienced ridicule from her family and other students because she was doing poorly in math. Although she didn't know anything about Jesus, and was still a Hindu, she said she would walk by a statue of Jesus and put her hands on it and ask for Jesus to help her be better in math. By the time she graduated from college, she was in the top few of her class in math, and earned a master's degree related to computers. (I'm sorry I couldn't quickly locate her email that explains it in her words, but when I find it, I'll correct this paragraph.)

Migraine Headache Relieved

Thank you so much for today's email. I am blessed and encouraged after reading your prayer. God bless you a lot. You are filled with the love and compassion of Lord Jesus. I am filled with peace as I read your email.

I wanted to tell you about what the Lord did today. I copied the "7 steps to healing" article from your website yesterday. Stephen was suffering from severe migraine and eye pain this evening.

I tried the 7 steps of healing on him and he was healed when I applied the steps on him the 4th time. All the pain and symptoms were gone. Glory to God! Thank you so much for posting such encouraging and faith enriching articles on your site. God bless you.

Fever From Unknown Cause Broken by Prayer

Ruth's son Samuel became feverish recently and when they took him to the hospital the doctors couldn't find what was wrong or treat him. So they sent Samuel home and his parents were very worried.

I told her to get her husband and any other believing family members together and anoint him with oil and pray over him. They did that and the fever broke and he was well.

Weight Loss Through Prayer and God’s Instruction

Everything that you have mentioned about why people put on weight is 100% correct. I have experienced it too. Before I found you, I would be so depressed all the time that I would try alleviate my stress and mental pain and despair by overeating often. I developed hyperacidity in my stomach because of the stress. I have put on weight ever since my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Same thing happened when I got married about 12 years ago. I would see my husband getting attracted to other women always. I was so depressed that I started eating a lot of non-veg. I had put on a lot of weight. My mom had asked me to take the Lord’s help and lose weight. That’s exactly what I did in 2005. Then I was back to normal weight.

When I was overweight in 2004 & 2005, mom told me to seek Lord's help. She meant that I should pray for Him to guide me to lose weight. That's exactly what I did.

I told Him in plain and simple words that my husband did not love me because he didn't find me attractive. I told the Lord that I needed Him to help me lose weight.

Over the next 4 or 5 months, the Lord showed me to eat the right kind of food which included a lot of raw veggies, less of white rice (Indians love white rice. It's a staple diet in South India), exercise for 30 mins a day. I bought an exercise bike and started working out. The Lord made me buy the right kind of dresses. I also got a good hair cut done. At every step, I kept thanking and telling the Lord that it's because of Him and His guidance that I was losing weight. I lost a lot of weight and looked fit and healthy. The best part was I would still eat meat but in moderation. The Lord always reminded me that I had to be fit. He boosted my self-confidence. He gave me the wisdom to do the right things.

To God be the praise and glory! In Jesus’ name I send out this teaching and ask that the Word bless and heal all who read or hear it.
