"We have a big gulf between the world
around us (with its needs) and the Kingdom of God with all of our provision in
it. We have one foot in both worlds, and wonder how we can access that
provision when we need it. We are
physically living in these bodies, and standing on earth, but we who are saved
are also living in an invisible kingdom of God.
We have our feet in both places, and we have to learn how to see with
spiritual eyes what God has provided for us. He PROMISED
food, protection and health, so if we ask where are these things, we have to
know they are SOMEWHERE. They ARE!! They are actually surrounding us, already
provided, but we are not able to see them yet with the physical eyes. We have to do what Jesus said to do and go
into a "state of emotional rest" to stand on the promises He gave
us. Then the things we need will come to
life into this physical world. Sometimes
they appear like magic in front of us.
This has happened to one of my sisters.
Food appeared all over the ground.
Pears appeared on the ground when she was hungry, and there were no pear
trees anywhere nearby and she was in a locked gated business where no one came
in and placed them there. God put them
there just for her. Sometimes
people bring us the things we need, in the form of money or supplies, or help. Sometimes
God changes the circumstances so that the needed amounts or dates of bills that
are due are put off until the money will be there. My sister who had the pears appear also had
some of her bills disappear. When she
went to make a payment, the company said it had been paid out and didn't exist
anymore. Jesus said
to ask in His name and to believe He would do it. He taught us how to pray - to honor the
Father first - "Hallowed be thy name". Then to pray for what God wills in our lives
before we ask for what we want.
"Thy kingdom come (into our awareness and reality on earth), thy
will be done (above our own wills). Give
us this day our daily bread (supply our needs Lord), and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." (We don't hold anything against our brothers,
and seek to make right what we've done wrong.) Jesus said
if we seek God and His righteousness first, God will supply all these other
things we have need of. He said God
KNOWS what we need, these are common needs to all men. We are all born and die, we have to have
houses and clothing and food. He knows
these things. He promised them. So what is
God's righteousness? We could think of
it as the right standing we have before Him because of Jesus' work on the
cross. Because He went to the cross and
took our punishment, He gave us HIS righteousness and right standing with God. We could think
of it as studying His word and taking on HIS thoughts and agreeing with what He
says is right or wrong. I think it
is also looking at Jesus and learning to SEE Him with our spiritual eyes, to
love and adore Him. The more you see and
know Him, and what He did for us, the more you just naturally love Him. And when you are doing that, (thinking about
Jesus) then your worldly problems fade away and your heart can relax and rest
in the sure knowledge that God is going to take care of EVERY need! He said
"cast your burdens upon Jesus because He cares for you." So to be
able to walk in power and confidence in God's provision, we have to keep the
firm determination that we will NOT focus our eyes on the NEEDS we have, or the
problems or the threats, but we WILL focus our eyes on the SOLUTION to those
problems, which is JESUS. He has the
power. He promised to give us what we
ask in His name, - all we have to do is believe it. When the
threats from the enemy come, when the bills are due, when you are out of food,
speak out loud the words of God's promises to us that cover those situations
and tell the enemy to "get behind me Satan! IT IS WRITTEN: God supplies all of my needs according to His
riches and glory in Christ Jesus." Say
"God I know you love me, I am your child and Jesus paid a very high price
to bring me home to your love and provision.
I know you have promised to supply all of my needs, and to care for
those I love, even to saving my children and grandchildren. I care for you and I put my faith and trust
in your ability to provide for me. I
declare and claim right now that I am whole and complete, nothing is lacking in
my life and nothing is broken or sick. I
declare and claim right now that you are supplying us with food and all of our
needs are being met right now, because you are a loving and kind God who
delights in the happiness of your people. I am
grateful to you my Lord and God, for providing these things that we need! I celebrate you, and I rest in the certainty
that I am blessed and all that concerns me will be perfected! In Jesus' precious name I ask for this help
and I believe I receive it when I pray!
Thank you Lord Jesus! Amen!" Our job isn’t
to worry or try to figure out HOW something will be done for us. It is to come to “Daddy” God with our
problems, lay it all out before Him and tell Him you are confident in His
ability and desire to help you. Then
spend your time praising Him and thanking Him!
Really get into the joy of praise and making up songs to the Lord. Whatever your talent is, do that for
Him! Make Him a picture, if you’re an
artist. Or build Him something. Whatever it is you do, do it with joy unto
the Lord. Do it for others around you
who can’t pay you back! Cook a meal and
send it to someone’s house. Bake a cake
and give it to someone who has none in Jesus’ name! If the
threat is bad or there is danger, or if someone is mocking you or your Lord,
use King Hezekiah’s prayer (2 Kings 19) 15 And
Hezekiah prayed: O Lord, the God of Israel, Who [in symbol] is enthroned above
the cherubim [of the ark in the temple], You
are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made the
heavens and the earth. 16 Lord, bow down Your ear and hear; Lord,
open Your eyes and see; hear the words of Sennacherib which he has sent to
mock, reproach, insult, and defy the living God. 19 Now
therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech
You, save us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know and
understand that You, O Lord, are God alone. God is good,
His word says He will not suffer the righteous to be moved, but will mightily
save! Thank you Jesus! To God be the praise and glory! In Jesus’ name I send out this teaching and ask that the Word bless and heal all who read or hear it. God bless you all. God bless you! Keep looking back here for more updates and more
