Lord Jesus, good morning!
I bless you and the Father and the Holy Spirit! Hallowed be thy name! Jesus, I come to you early in the morning, and even
though my mind is wandering and wondering how to approach you today, what to
talk about today, I choose to use the attitude of King David and the Patriarchs
and Prophets. I will boldly come before
you and declare your words as true and applicable to me today. I will not sit in weakness or in uncertainty, but I will
see myself through your eyes, looking at me through Jesus who is my High
Priest, who has declared me clean and righteous, by HIS cleanliness and
righteousness. Not mine. I don’t have to have anything except Jesus. I don’t have to do anything, except worship you. I don’t have to BE anyone, except who you say
I am! I love “Aaron’s blessing” to the people. “I am the Lord
your God, I WILL bless you and I WILL keep you and I will set a hedge of
protection around you!” We will be your
people Lord and you are our God. You are
the ONLY God we have, and you are more (much more) than sufficient for our
needs and our everlasting JOY in you! I love that you are not only a God set upon a throne
overlooking us and distant from our plight and cries. You are not only an absolute ruler, but you
are a very powerful and wise and confident God who has reached out to us and
humbled yourself to the earth to care what we do and feel. You have provided for our needs, though what
are we to you? You have healed our
wounds and applied holy salve and comforted us by holding our heads on a pillow
on your lap. You have appointed your
best nurses and doctors of Heaven to minister to us, and make sure we are healed. You have set before us a table of good things
that never becomes empty. The food and
supplies, provisions and bills being paid, never ends! Your storehouses and treasury are always full
and overflowing towards us. We have
enough, and more than enough! Your great wisdom teaches us truths that we could not
bear without your wonderful mind. Your
patience is sufficient for us, even when we are short on patience. Your plan for our lives is always good, and you will do
us no harm, nor allow the enemy to harm us.
No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Though a thousand fall at our side and ten
thousand at our right hand, the danger will not come near us. You have set your armies of angels around us, encamped as
a hedge of protection and mercy, and help for every need. Every weakness is met with strength. Every fear is met with faith. Every need is met with its solution. You are our Father, and your blood is in us. Your DNA identifies us. Your Son’s blood has sprinkled us and made us
holy and justified and righteous. We are justified by our faith in you that we have
believed what we heard about you, and what Jesus has done for us. We are still learning, small children at your
feet absorbing the enormity of the gift of Christ! We will spend eternity in your beloved
presence learning more and more of what it meant for us to be rescued. We will learn that we were all on the verge of destruction,
and we had no hope. Then Jesus called
out and said He would stand for us and help us, and you gave us this
chance. We were put here on earth to be
redeemed from our follies. Perhaps we
had lived in Heaven before and fell with the angels. It’s not important where we WERE, only where
we ARE! To know that there truly IS a
cliff, a precipice that we were about to fall over, and at that point was truly
our point of no return. Thank you Father that you rescued us, and redeemed
us. Thank you Jesus that you willingly
went to the cross and performed EVERY work for our salvation and
wholeness. We are like you now, and we
have your word to hold onto, your blood to sustain and continually cleanse
us. We are righteous because YOU are
righteous. We are loved because you love
us. We are healed, because you took the
stripes of our penance on your back and died on the cross to carry every one of
our sins, sicknesses and shortcomings away from us forever. You BORE them on your body on the tree, and
therefore they have NO RIGHT to bother us today, and we cast them out in Jesus’
name, as it is written, “By His stripes we are healed!” I believe you Jesus.
I believe every word you said is true.
I believe that every promise you spoke to us shall come to pass and is
ours already.
I celebrate the goodness of the Holy Spirit and the
beauty of the Holy Spirit, as He settles down over our heads with His sparkling
presence and gives us peace. I celebrate the fineness of my Lord and Savior, my
eternal King, dressed in holy garments, adorned with the best and most costly
robes, who puts on humble attire to sit with us, His friends, and His beloved,
to be all that our soul longs for! We stand with you Jesus, we long for your coming, and we
call for the blessing and rescue of your Hebrew people and Jerusalem. Lord we bless her, and we beg you to come
quickly! Come and make the earth be
cleansed and the people forgiven, and resurrected, and forever your bride! We stand ready, at the door of our innermost heart,
welcoming you in, waiting for your knock and we will sup with you! We bless you today, dear God! We bless and praise you and give you our
holiest thoughts, and our greatest longing aimed at you! To you be the glory, the power and dominion
forever. Lord, thy Kingdom come, let thy
will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily supply, and lead us not into
temptation but deliver us from evil.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lord
help us to be humble amongst our brethren, and not see ourselves as deserving
anything more than another, and to give up the need to be repaid for some service. Let us discover a deeper identity, and deeper thoughts
than we have right now. When we sit in
quietness, our minds usually run in chaos and superficial things. But I want to know a peace in the quietness,
that doesn’t require a television or computer to entertain me. I desire to know how to talk with you Lord,
in a way that brings you into my presence, or me into yours! I desire to be filled with contentment and
peace with nothing more than my spirit and yours. That I might not need toys, phones, computers,
and all the drama of living among mankind to keep my mind busy. I desire humility like Jesus has, so that I don’t
constantly seek the approval of other people, but only seek to be approved by
God. I desire a wider vision of who I am Lord, and who I am to
you. Please show me where I came from,
and where I am going, and let me spend EVERY single moment with you and never
separated again! This is my desire, my dear and beloved God! I bow before you, and humbly ask for your presence
today. Be with me Holy Spirit, and guide
me through every action and every thought.
Let me be constantly cleansed by Jesus’ blood and reminded of His great
love and beauty, every moment! Thank you dear Lord!
I ask these things in Jesus’ name.
I ask also in Jesus’ name that you heal all the people on our prayer
list, and help all those around me to be blessed and prosper. Bless and prosper my children and grandchildren,
and the man I share my heart with. Lord
help us to grow closer together in understanding and wisdom of your word, so
that we can truly be equally yoked. I praise you Lord.
