We have much
work to do to get the world ready for our Lord's coming. I've learned
some new things lately. I have learned
that the Lord is doing mighty things and revival has hit the entire world. There are people who are actually DOING the
things Jesus said we would do. They are
casting out demons and delivering people.
They are discipling others, one at a time and teaching them to heal and
to deliver. I have been
being discipled by a very young street preacher who has given his entire life
to doing the work of God. He has no job,
no home, but relies on God to feed him and give him shelter, and he spends all
day long on the computer, talking with people who are desperately sick or in
need of God. He teaches them how to
forgive and break off curses. I will share
with you what he has taught me. He said
that every time we get our feelings hurt, or suffer injury, or someone says
unkind things about us, that the enemy gains an entrance into our lives and
establishes a legal right to be in us, based on the REACTION we had to the
harmful event. In other
words, when we get angry, or our feelings are hurt, we become bitter and if we
don't immediately forgive and bless the person who hurt us, these hurts will
become future diseases and infirmities. For new
Christians and unbelievers, he says it is easy to heal those people. But for Christians who have read the Word,
and KNOW we're supposed to forgive, etc., we are held accountable for those
events in our past and healing may be harder to obtain, UNLESS we work on
forgiving. So he said
for me to remember every painful event in my past. Imagine the person who hurt me being in front
of me, and speak out loud to them. For
instance: "Husband, when you
threatened to hit me, (or whatever the event was), you really hurt me, caused
fear and a feeling of worthlessness. I
felt a lack of love. That was wrong what
you did. But I choose right now to
forgive you in Jesus' name. I will
forgive and bless you and only wish you good things because I love the Lord and
I will not carry this burden around with me anymore. So I REPENT of my feelings of fear and
worthlessness. I repent that I felt that
I was not loved, despite how often God has told me in His word that I am
extremely valuable to HIM and loved. I
forgive you for doing it, and I forgive myself for my reaction to what you did. For word
curses, (such as when someone says you are ugly, stupid, fat, unlovable), you
do the same thing. You talk to the
person in your mind, state what they said, that it was wrong and it was a LIE! Say that you repent of believing that lie and
being hurt by it. Tell them you forgive
them, then bless them and imagine giving them or praying for them to get
everything your human heart might NOT want them to get. (Such as:
I wish you would do well in work, get a raise and be able to afford a very
nice house.) Etc. When you do
this, it weakens the enemy's hold on you, and you can cast out the
spirits. The spirits may be fear (and
many different kinds of spirits of fear), or it might be bitterness, envy,
jealousy, self hatred, or any other kind of emotional sin we all feel. I hope this
helps you. I bless you in Jesus' name
and I declare that you will reach many people and they will
accept Jesus and be taught under your care.
I pray that God will increase your money and supplies and provide every
need that you have. I pray that you will
spend more time communing with God, and enjoying the presence of Jesus. I pray that you will DO what Jesus commanded
us to do. Deliver those oppressed with
spirits. Heal the sick. Raise the dead, preach the gospel and occupy
