Hi, this is Lisa with a message about the Holy Spirit. Have you ever wondered why none of the
Christians you see today in your local churches, walk around doing
miracles and healings, why they don’t raise anyone from the dead or do
all the things Jesus Himself did? Especially
since Jesus said we WOULD do these things, if we follow Him. Obviously one
reason COULD be that there are people who think they’re saved but
aren’t, and then there are Christians who don’t believe they’re
SUPPOSED to do these things. Most
people really don’t know what the Holy Spirit is for and they have no
clue how to get the power that Jesus had, or even if it’s possible. Some people even believe sickness and death, depression and failure are things that Christians have to go through to get closer to God, and become better Christians. Show me
how you get to be a better Christian by walking in weakness and failure!
The apostles and early Christians didn’t do that.
They IMMEDIATELY began living victorious lives of power and joy.
Even Peter’s SHADOW had power to heal wherever it fell as he
walked along the street. Nope, doesn’t sound to me like it was necessary to be sick
to be close to God. The
truth is, God wants you to be healed, healthy, victorious in every
area, and provided for.
He wants your family to be blessed and everything you touch to
succeed, by His mercy and love.
He also wants you to be obedient to His Words. How
do you get the power that Jesus wants you to have?
The secret is in your faith, and in letting
the Holy Spirit fill your life.
He is inside you now if you’re saved, but He won’t be on the
throne of your life until you PUT HIM there by invitation.
So acknowledge Him as a real person, (He’s not a THING), and
know that He is the third person of the Holy Trinity.
(There is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy
Spirit.) The
Holy Spirit seals you the moment you are saved, and He stays with you
forever after that.
(This is your promise of salvation, and NOBODY can take it away
from you.)
But
He also wants to lead you and empower you.
To receive this “baptism
of the Holy Ghost”, you only have to ask.
Remember when you asked Jesus to save you?
Pray the same way to the Holy Spirit, like this “Spirit
of God, please come into my heart and my life, fill me with your wisdom
and power.
Please baptize me with your power and be in control of my
life!” You
may feel something, and you may not, but you have the PROMISE that if
you pray like this, and really mean it in your heart, that you WILL now
be under the anointing of God and His power will flow into and through
you. You’re
prayers to heal the sick and give help to people will be answered
quickly and you’ll have the power of God operating in your life.
Your life will begin to change and you’ll be a light to the
world. You
may experience other evidence of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in
tongues, or your hands becoming warm as you pray.

Another
thing I REALLY want you to understand is that when you are saved, you
are not only forgiven and adopted into the family of God, but you are
taken completely out from under the Law that condemns.
You are NO LONGER a sinner, no
longer capable of sinning. I
don’t mean you can’t do wrong, or do the same things you were doing
when you WERE a sinner. I mean that when you do wrong now, it’s not called sin. It is still wrong to willfully sin, and
it hurts Jesus. It hurts
the Holy Spirit who is sealed inside of you forever.
But when the devil comes to you through your conscience, and
tries to tell you that you can’t REALLY be saved because you have
still done wrong at times, you MUST KNOW that he’s a LIAR.
You ARE saved, and
Jesus’ blood CONTINUES to wash over you, sprinkling your conscience
and your heart daily, 24 hrs a day, and removes every new wrong you do,
as you learn how to live and walk in the Spirit. (It IS
still up to you to learn to walk in the Spirit and in love.) Soon, you’ll be walking with power and
doing wrong less and less. You
still have to use your will to CHOOSE what is right over what is wrong,
but you can walk without fear now.
You don’t have to be afraid of being accused; you were
acquitted, set free and no longer subject to the law of death from sin. Walking
in fear is one of the biggest reasons Christians have no power.
They listen to the enemy say they are sinners and can’t
approach God’s throne of mercy because they have dirty hands. Jesus says COME to the throne. Come and be replenished, washed clean every day, and refilled with power and purpose. He wants you to have a vision of who you are and what you’re doing here. He wants to walk WITH you, everywhere and all the time. He wants you to be victorious! Jesus said, “Come
unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in
heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light.” This
is from Matthew 11:30 of the King James Version. Would
you like to be able to look up verses and issues, to see what the Bible
says about them? Would you
like to be able to search many different Bibles, and commentaries, to
see what other translations of the Bible say?
You can log onto www.biblegateway.com
and type in parts of verses or words you’d like to look
up. Choose from many
Bibles, ones you’ve never even heard of before.
And this website is FREE. Use
it often! Keep
a Bible in your home; encourage your family to read it.
But make use of every good thing, and the Internet biblegateway
site is a great research tool. The
last thing I want to tell you is that there is power in the spoken word.
God
said He made us in His image, and He created using words.
He SAID, “let there be light” and there was light.
We have the same creative power in our speech that He has.
This is one reason the world is in a real bad mess today.
We are not careful what we say.
We curse and complain, and we express our “faith” in bad
things happening. Have you
ever said something like “I believe it’s going to rain before I get
these clothes dried” or “She’s going to be raped wearing that
outfit!” Although
you may not have had the faith built up to actually cause it to rain
immediately, or for someone to experience immediate harm, but those
words are like smoke filling a room, building and turning the balance of
the world from good to bad. They
add up and they don’t go away. Every
word spoken that builds people up and edifies, praises God or blesses
people and things, tips the balance of the world towards peace,
prosperity and long life. If
we can educate everyone we know to speak only good, we can change the
world in big ways! Remember every big thing begins with one person.
If no one will listen to you, there is still YOUR voice that can
speak good, bless your family and neighbors and forgive those who have
done wrong. Remember
a few paragraphs ago; I said, “How do you get the power that Jesus
wants you to have? The
secret is in faith, and in having the Holy Spirit, and letting Him fill
your life.” I’ve
already told you how to get the Holy Spirit, but the other really
important part of power is FAITH. The
Bible says “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”
What does this mean? It
means if you want to have more power, you need more faith.
To have more faith, you need to hear more Word of God.
That means studying and memorizing verses. Which
verses? How do you find
them? And when you’ve
memorized the verses how do you apply them to your life and make
miracles happen? I
have good news for you. Pastor
Stan Glass of Life Christian Center International in Albany GA gave us
two sets of Bible verses that had been turned into confessions.
In other words, where a specific Bible verse has Jesus
instructing us to “ask in My name”, in these verses it would read
“I ask in Jesus’ name”. There
are 194 verses of faith confessions that you can pray with and repeat
out loud daily that will bring about the miracles you’re asking for in
your life. Some
are for specific health or money problems; others are worded to deal
with general issues. Once
you see how they are written, you can write your own for your special
problems and concerns. I
will help you learn more about the specific verses that are promises to
us, but in the meantime, read the Bible and read these faith
confessions. USE the faith
confessions. I hope you
understood that these Bible promises turned into confessions are
anointed and will unleash the power to heal you and fix your problems,
when you activate them by speaking them out loud and hooking your faith
up to what you speak. You
can also look up the verses mentioned after each one, so you can see
what God specifically said. Not
all of the Bible references will seem to make sense to you, but trust
and believe. God will
reveal His will and His mercy. He
is your very best friend, and He will NEVER leave you. At
the bottom of this page I’ve typed some of the verses, but if you want
to read them ALL, find them on my website at You are very important
to me, and that’s why I’ve taken the time to write this out for you.

Faith Confessions - God’s Medicine (Take
By Mouth At Least Three Times a Day – More If Needed!!!) God
loves me so much that He gave His only Son for me. I believe in Jesus, therefore I will not perish.
I have everlasting life. (John
3:16) I
have faith in God. I will
not fear. (Mark 4:40) I
reverently fear the Lord. I
respect and honor Him therefore I do not lack!
(Ps 34:9) All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me by Jesus Christ.
(Matt. 28:18) I
forgive those whom I have anything against so that my prayers are not
hindered. (Mark. 11:25) God
has given me every place that my feet tread upon.
Therefore, I have dominion over sin, sickness and poverty.
(Joshua 1:3) The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me. He
has anointed me with the same anointing that Jesus has. The anointing in me removes every burden and destroys every
yoke in my life. (Luke
4:18, Is 10:27) Jesus
took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses.
By His stripes I am healed!
(Matt 8:17; I Peter 2:24) My
God supplies all my needs according to His riches in Glory.
(Phil. 4:19) Jesus
has destroyed him that had the power of death.
Therefore, I do not have to live in bondage to the fear of death.
(Heb 2:14-15) I
obey God and keep my heart perfect toward Him.
The Lord shows Himself strong in my behalf. (II Chron. 16:9) When
I am afflicted or in trouble, I pray.
The Lord delivers me out of all my afflictions.
(James 5:13; Ps. 34:19) The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me. He
has anointed me! (Luke
4:18) Jesus
is the Lord of my life. Sickness
and disease have no power over me.
I am forgiven and free from sin and guilt.
I am dead to sin and alive unto righteousness.
(Colossians 1:21,22) Jesus
bore my sicknesses and carried my pain.
Therefore I give no place to sickness or pain. For God sent His Word and healed me. (Psalm 103:20) You
have given me abundant life. I
receive that life through Your Word and it flows to every organ of my
body bringing healing and health. (John
10:10, John 6:63) Heavenly Father, I attend to Your Word. I incline my ears to Your sayings. I will not let them depart from my eyes. I keep them in the midst of my heart, for they are life and healing to all my flesh. (Proverbs. 4:20-22) No evil will befall me, neither
shall any plague come near my dwelling.
For You have given your angels charge over me.
They keep me in all my ways.
In my pathway is life, healing and health.
(Psalm 91:10, 11; Prov. 12:28) Jesus
took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses.
Therefore I refuse to allow sickness to dominate my body.
The Life of God flows within me bringing healing to every fiber
of my being. (Matt. 8:17,
John 6:63) I
am redeemed from the curse. Galatians
3:13 is flowing in my blood stream.
It flows to every cell of my body, restoring life and health. (Mark 11:23; Luke 17:6) The
life of I Peter 2:24 is a reality in my flesh, restoring every cell of
my body. Heavenly
Father, through Your Word you have imported Your life to me.
That life restores my body with every breath I breathe and every
word I SPEAK. (John 6:63;
Mark 11:23) That
which God has not planted is dissolved and rooted out of my body in
Jesus’ name. I Peter 2:24
is engrafted into every fiber of my being and I am alive with the life
of God. (Mark 11:23; John
6:63) Jesus
bore the curse for me; therefore, I forbid growths, tumors or cysts to
inhabit my body. The life
of God within me dissolves growths, tumors and cysts, and my strength
and health is restored. (Matt.
16:19; John 14:13; Mark 11:23) Growths
and tumors have no right to my body.
They are a thing of the past for I am delivered from the
authority of darkness. (Col.
1:13, 14) Every
organ and tissue of my body functions in the perfection that God created
it to function. I forbid
any malfunction in my body in Jesus’ name.
(Gen. 1:28, 31) Father,
Your Word has become a part of me.
It is flowing in my bloodstream.
It flows to every cell of my body, restoring and transforming my
body. Your Word has become
flesh, for You sent Your Word and healed me
(James 1:21; Ps. 107:20; Proverbs 13:3) Arthritis,
you must GO! Sicknesses
MUST FLEE! Tumors can’t
exist in me, for the Spirit of God is upon me and the Word of God is
within me. Sickness, fear and oppression have no power over me for
God’s Word is my confession. (Mark
11:23) Jesus gave me the authority to use His name. And that which I bind on earth is bound in Heaven. And that which I loose on earth is loosed in Heaven. Therefore in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world. I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and render them harmless and ineffective against me in the name of Jesus.
