One of the most important scripture instructions God left for us is Psalm 91. See the magnitude of what He is saying here and be comforted, be empowered and rise above your fears!
Beloved, first you must decide if you are going to take God's word at face value and LIVE BY IT. There is a big difference and Christians go both ways, some to power and success, some to the same old lives they've always led and in the end, bitter disappointment.
We are straddling two worlds, the physical and the spiritual, the seen and the unseen. All of the enemy's attacks exist here in the seen. We SEE that our light bill wasn't paid, we SEE that the body is ill, and the bank account is empty. But we are told again and again in scripture not to look at these things or have faith in the circumstances. We are commanded to close our eyes and believe what God has said He will do for us if we trust and abide in Him.
Our family's healings have come when we prayed and then turned the problem over to God, shutting our eyes to the physical circumstances, and let God work out the miracle.
God delights in bringing us miracles every day. From the ordinary miracle of where the next meal or job, or breath is coming from, to the sublime - the instant materialization and movement of matter.
If you're tired of living in your circumstances, and want to know the miracle working world of God, you must take Psalm 91 at face value and believe it as a child has no reason to doubt what he's told.
As trusting as children, you must understand and believe that these verses were written for YOU, PERSONALLY! You, who is reading this at this moment, and that if you will apply these verses to your heart and life, you will be transformed from the kingdom of the world, into the Kingdom of God.
Thank God we have a Father in Heaven who IS REAL and who always gives good gifts, and we will never be disappointed again, IF we work Psalm 91:1 and 2. They are what all the other verses hinge on.
Verse 1: The first requirement is that we live in the constant state of trusting in God. Dwelling in the "Secret" place of the Most High. This is studying His Word, so that we can have faith in it, and have patience knowing that whatever we've asked of Him, He will deliver.
Verse 2: The second requirement, is that we must SAY these things we are believing in, say them out loud, often and believe it from the inner heart.
Psalm 91 King James Bible
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.I've added the Amplified Bible's explanation of these verses so you can see the fullness and richness of the original Hebrew or Greek. (Notice that there are verses here that relate to the swine flu and the devastation of the economy and any thing you might be worrying about today. God has every eventuality covered, from the beginning of the earth to the last moment of life on this planet.)
Psalm 91:1, 2 (Amplified Bible)
HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.
For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].
They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Psalm 91:1 The rich promises of this whole chapter are dependent upon one's meeting exactly the conditions of these first two verses (see Exod. 15:26).
For my own prayer practice and faith building, I have turned Psalm 91 into an affirmation. You can use it too. Repeat these words out loud, several times a day until they become a part of your heart and you FEEL that they are true, besides just memorizing the words. THIS is part of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High.
Because I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, I shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
I say of the Lord, He IS my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
He delivers me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
He covers me with His pinions, and under His wings I will trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
I am not afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
I am not afraid of being broke and needing something, because I know my God will supply whatever I need from His riches and mercy.
I am not afraid of my body falling apart or being ill, or of my getting old, because I place my health, my life and my body in God’s hands, and trust in Him to renew my youth and my strength. And He does this daily. My cells and my body are renewed and strengthened as a young eagle and a young lion. I am capable of all that He tells me to do, and all that I put my hand to.
I am not afraid of sudden consequences to our family’s actions, because I know that God is helping us work them out and we are making things right so that we have no consequences to suffer. I repent of all my sins, and all of my failures to act. I place myself in God’s hands and my Savior’s Grace and provision is sufficient and more than abundant. He covers my shortcomings and my faults with His perfection and in Him I am complete.
I am not afraid of 2012, or of the shifting of the magnetic poles, nor of the weakening of the earth’s protection against the sun’s radiation, nor of any demonic, scientific or technological calamity because I believe that God has pre-ordained my path and my days. I give Him my permission to intervene in my life and to make all my paths straight. I trust completely in God’s wisdom and timing, and in His sovereignty over the earth, and over all its boundaries and systems. No enemy, no technology and no “thing” whatsoever is stronger than my God, nor can overtake Him and His will for my life.
I am not afraid of the end of the world, because the end of things in Revelation is the beginning of God’s peace on earth, and of a new earth and new life for all of us, being with our Jesus, and in that life is every good thing that every man, woman and child needs. There will be nothing left out, and nothing forgotten, except the evil, the failure, the sorrow, the pain and the punishment. All these things will be removed, and I rejoice in the day of the Lord that is to come. Come quickly, Jesus.

I can walk through a room full of infected and dying people, and no flu or plague or disease of any kind can penetrate my barriers, or stick to my body. God protects me and allows me to continue my work without harm.

Because He walks with me, and has favored me with His protection, I shall ask for help for others, especially my family and friends, and they will receive also, because I ask in Jesus’ name and have faith that God will save.
With my faith, and success, and my deep love for God, He will draw my family and friends also into a close relationship with Him, and they too will dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
With long life He will satisfy me and show me His salvation.
And we will walk together in the gardens of the Spirit, and I will learn at his feet and love His precepts and thoughts and will. I will love and honor His decisions, and obey Him all the days of my life, for they are healing and life to me, and better than any thing I could desire in the universe. They are healing to my flesh, and life to my spirit, fullness of days and success for all that I do. In Him will I trust completely and nothing in my life shall be lived outside of His secret place. He is TRULY my Father, and my Lord and my God, the source of all Life.
I have met Jesus in person at church, and believe I have met in person the Spirit of God as a shining cloud that settled over my head as I was prayed over, and believe that I have met the Father as a billowing cloud of holiness that came out of a sanctuary room after-hours when the church was dark and empty.
Jesus touched my spirit with His mind and I knew His thoughts. We encounter God in different ways, but when it is truly God, you know it by the goodness and righteousness, and purity.
I have also dreamed of Jesus, where He gave me messages in the dreams, and they were for edification and for encouragement.
Jesus is the perfect companion for all of us. He is gentle and meek but not weak! He never gives up, never backs away, and has all of the power and authority necessary to go into battle for us, and the day that reveals Him as our King and warrior is coming.
Beloved readers, my dear friends and family, get to know God. You don't have to obtain an appointment or pass to come into His presence. You don't need a pastor there, or to have your life situations resolved and be all holy first! NO!
Jesus died for us while we were still sinners. He lived among ordinary men, sinners who had been transformed inside by the experience of meeting Jesus. He desires to live with you now, and if you put yourself in His hands, He will gently and surely deliver you from every calamity and monster you face today. There is nothing in your life that He can't forgive you of, and transform into a way to give the Father glory.
Take Psalm 91 as your medicine and repeat these or similar verses as your affirmations. Write your own rescue and claim it, and God will honor it His way, and soon you will see the evidence of it in your life.
