Dear Friends, Greetings in the Name of Jesus, our greatest friend indeed!

Today I am writing to you about a real challenge we all face in this world today: The upcoming generation, our youth, our children. The challenge is facing our leaders who have to deal with the issues involving our youth, our teachers, our judges, our police; FOREMOST the parents and grandparents.

Years ago, the Lord impressed a portion of Scripture upon my mind and heart which lately has come back with a strength and urgency I no longer can keep quiet about. It is from Jeremiah 9:17:21 (Read also v. 23-24)

"Thus sayeth the Lord of hosts, consider ye and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come: and let them make haste and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears and our eyelids may gush out with waters. For a voice of wailing has been heard out of Zion: “How are we spoiled”. We are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out. Yet hear ye the Word of the Lord, Oh ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth and teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor lamentations.

For death is come up into our windows and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without and the young men off the street. Jeremiah 9:17-21"

I want to recommend to you a book: “The Marketing of Evil”. If you ever want to spent 20 dollars (if you buy three copies and give it to parents who have teens who are getting into piercing and loud music and drugs and alcohol and sex and rebellion and running away, etc. you get free shipping!” THAT extra money spent may just be the salvation those families need and instead of flowers for a funeral, or high costs for “therapy” you are buying a book that can over and over help people understand what is happening in this world we live in, and save our youth from self-destruction.

If your children and grandchildren, nephews and nieces, the children of your friends and neighbors are still very young and you say to yourself: “O that will not happen to us”, you are DECEIVED! This evil reaches into almost every family, every household, every school, and every home.

You must become a soldier of the cross. We are sending our troops, ( OUR HEROES) to other lands and nations to save the people there from their dictators; we are the soldiers who MUST save our children in this nation and across the nations by no longer tolerating the evil bestowed upon this generation. This book I mentioned will OPEN YOUR EYES!

In Deut. the 6^th chapter parents are commanded by the Lord to teach their children the Word of the Lord, wherever they are, when they take a walk or when they sit down, to write it on their doorpost, to carry the Scriptures and teach them to our children. Jesus in the New Testament over and over points to Himself as the Bread of Life, the Good Shepherd, the Healer, the Savior, the Son of God. “Follow ME”, He says.

What has happened in Society? Many have made light of the Gospel, ridiculed it, actually forbidden it in our courtrooms and in the schools, and with the tide of unfamiliarity to the Word of God we have replaced our solid Word teaching with pop-psychology, - more counseling, more pills, more prisons, more welfare – none of which really work.

Blessed is the man who stands NOT in the counsel of the un-godly…. Ps. 1:1

We have taken rights away from parents and killed @ 40 million unborn. School counselors have plenty rights; Dept. of Soc. Services and child protection (and yes, they ARE needed) often have too much power. A good loud argument or heated conversation can land both parties in a marriage into jail with many costs involved where they have to be “Evaluated” by the system and people are caught up in legal entanglements. Misery without righteous resolve. Children/teens have multiple sex partners and get Aids and other venereal diseases because we live in a generation where they are told they do not have to listen to parents. We teach them about sex and the movies, TV and music is filled with it. When parents want to exert authority, the children are outraged, even telling lies that can devastate the parent’s lives and reputation. A teen’s remark: “Don’t worry, if I get pregnant, I’ll just get an abortion!” Is that the way we want their thinking to go?

We must pray. Prayer makes the difference.

What this book: “The Marketing of Evil” is exposing are the many outside inputs into your children thought patterns and lives and they are children unawares running to their destruction. They are not bad, it is the influence that is poured into them that is bad, debilitating and destructful and harmful.

Another vacation, another trip to somewhere, another new outfit, another new “toy” such as car, motorcycle, stereo, cell-phone, etc. is NOT going to appease the children. Maybe for a moment, but it starts all over again, because this enemy that has beguiled them is relentless. This enemy wants more. It does not rest. And the parents who listen to the same music, etc. as their children fall into the same ruinous pit.

I Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, AS (not is) a roaring lion, walketh around, seeking whom he may devour!

Each morning, the Lord wakes me up at 6 a.m. to pray. Thanks be to God who is faithful and wakes me up! At times I do not want to, but I pray the Lord will not let me go and I will not let go of the many prayer request coming my way. Prayer makes the difference. Many of you know me. I am not a spring chicken, but God gives me strength. I pastor a rural church and also work part-time three days per week. We also lost a son to the tide of the days we live in. Enough is enough. Become a soldier in God’s Army!

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought
